We often get entangled in our own details, absorbed in the nature of things, but only as they directly concern us. How often do we live in our own little world? Join us as we begin LGBTIQQ Pride Month and reflect on the broad diversity of all creation. Guest preacher Rev. Emma Chattin is Executive Director of the TransGender Education Association of Greater Washington, DC, and was named one of six OUTstanding Virginians of 2018 by Equality Virginia.

To give our General Assembly representatives a hearty send-off, we’ll celebrate the Unitarian tradition of Flower Communion. Created by Rev. Norbert Capek, founder of Czechoslovakia’s Unitarian church, the ritual was created to bring people closer together while simultaneously celebrating their different faiths and different walks in life. Bring a flower to participate in this beautiful experience!
