MONTHLY GIVING TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
The Social Action Committee decides to which organizations our monthly contribution go. We also donate to the Oxon Hill Food Pantry monthly through our soup lunches. See more on our Social Action page. Links to organizations below open a new window.
Here are organizations we’ve give to since 2010:
Community Support Systems – CSS’s mission is to help low and moderate-income families and senior citizens access services; to be an advocate for needed services; and to provide local programs that will raise the quality of life, dignity, and independence in the community. CSS strives to improve the quality of life of its most vulnerable neighbors in the southern Prince George’s and northern Charles counties of Maryland.
Family Crisis Center of Prince George’s County – Since October 13, 1981, the Family Crisis Center of Prince George’s County, Inc. Its mission is to promote and facilitate the elimination of violence in intimate relationships by providing counseling, education and support services to women, children, and men.

Beacon House (our long-standing partner based in Washington, DC) supports at-risk youth and families in Edgewood Terrace through educational, cultural, and recreational programs.
Oxon Hill, MD Food Pantry (another long-standing partner) Provides emergency food to qualifying families living in southern Prince George’s County up to three times in a calendar year.
