   ADORE is a forum in which participants explore their feelings on race and ethnic issues in order to learn more about themselves and to improve racial/ethnic relations


Open Discussion(s):Participants share recent experiences that prompted them to reflect on their race, ethnicity, or gender

Facilitator led discussions:

1.    During President Trump’s term in office will White People finally recognize the realities of white privilege and white supremacy?

2.    Should Confederate symbols (names, statues, flags, etc.), continue to be displayed on public properties as tributes to the south’s Civil War efforts? (Reading provided)

3.    What is your take-away from the article “. . . the roots of racism and how to stop it”, by researchers  William Wan and Sarah Kaplan? (Reading provided)
