In Endless Song

Inspired by the music of Cedar Lane’s bell choir, Bell Canto, we consider how our lives might flow like an “endless song” and how, despite “tumult and strife” we cannot keep from singing! A special collection will be taken for SMYAL, which “creates leadership development opportunities, after-school programs, and counseling services designed to empower LGBTQ youth.” With Reverend Norman Allen and featuring Cedar Lane's bell choir Bell Canto.

Good Friday: Our Wounded World

Rev. Norm brings the Unitarian Universalist tradition of a candlelit Good Friday “Tenebrae” service to Davies this evening. Using the tale of Jesus’s final days as a mirror for our broken and wounded world, we’ll take time to contemplate, to mourn, and to prepare ourselves for the joyous rejuvenation waiting on Sunday morning.

Join us to celebrate the great and joyous women who stand at the intersection of Passover and Easter – Miriam who danced on the shores of the Red Sea and Mary Magdalene who was the first to recognize the risen Jesus and call him, “Rabbi!” (At this family-friendly service, eggs will be hunted and Red Seas will part!)
